Educational Trips
Learning is fun at Banyan Tree School. Educational trips and tours are organized through out the year to break the monotony of routine work and bring in the element of fun along with learning. These trips are across the board right from nursery to XII. Junior school and senior school students go for Activity based day camps and middle school students go for overnight camps to historical places. These trips aim to develop self-reliance, teamwork and cooperation. Care is taken to provide age compatibility to the intended experience.

Roshini School
Through this programme, the school endeavors to reach out to the immediate community. Children from our neighbourhood, who attend State schools during the day, are inducted into higher level of academic achievements in the afternoon in our school premises. Trained teachers have been appointed for remedial classes to make learning more meaningful.The students are also provided IT training, so essential in today’ s web connected world. Roshni provides this vital link between School the larger community.
Udayan
Udayan runs homes for orphaned and abandoned children. Students from the home are included in the School system and provided with free education.
Cleanest Day
Every 23rd of the month is celebrated as the 'Cleanest Day'
Volunteers always feel that Roshini students give back more through their smiles and happy faces.Working with others, embracing differences, developing a strong awareness of social responsibility and sensitivity to the needs of others make our students advocate our School philosophy.
Green Initiatives
We make our students appreciate our heritage and work towards creating a peaceful environment through responsibility. This individual and collective effort moulds custodians of the Earth with a conscious need to protect and conserve the environment. Children get an insight into different environmental issues and follow sustainable practices in their local environment. Observation of a Go Green week, interaction with junior students on environmental issues, campaigns on the banning of fire crackers, energy conservation, planting of trees, segregation of waste and supply of waste paper to paper recycling plants are some of the activities that garner an active participatory approach to familiarize the students with the core issues of our environment.
Health & Physical Education
Banyan Tree School offers a number of sport activities. Our motto is “Fitness for All”. We believe in keeping all our students fit mentally as well as physically. We have regular classes of Aerobics, Mass Physical Training andYoga for all our students.
For Senior school we have Basketball, Football, Cricket, Athletics, Handball and Table Tennis. We also have weekly sport activities where we emphasize on each sport separately and try to give professional training to the students in their favorite sport.For Middle school we have Basketball, Football, Cricket, Athletics, Handball, Kho-Kho and Table Tennis. We try and encourage students to take up sports for their overall development and exposure. We take students out for tournaments to increase their confidence level.
For Primary School we have several games like Basketball, Football, Cricket, Handball, Kho-Kho, Relay races and other fun games like Dog and the Bone, Musical Chair, Dodge ball etc.We also have March Past for classes 9th to 12th on 26th January.We also conduct Inter-House matches for all the classes in games like have Basketball, Football, Cricket,Athletics, Handball and Table Tennis.
